September 2026 Newsletter

Back to School… Back to Pilates!

September has arrived, bringing that familiar feeling of getting back into a rhythm. As summer gives way to new routines, the back-to-school season reminds us of learning, connection, and fresh starts.

As adults, we can bring that same spirit into our Pilates practice. Whether we’re refining a familiar movement, learning something new, or taking on a new challenge, Pilates gives us endless opportunities to grow.

And just like the start of a new school year, September brings a few new things to Zenergy. Here’s what’s happening this month!

New Monday Evening Mat Class

Beginning Monday, September 14, Zenergy will be offering a new 50-minute Mat Pilates class every Monday at 7:30 PM.

If you primarily take equipment classes, Mat Pilates is a great way to challenge your body in a different way. Without the equipment, your body becomes the resistance, encouraging you to focus on core control, stability, alignment, and precise movement.

It can also be a great opportunity to work familiar muscles differently, discover new movement patterns, and complement the work you're already doing in your equipment sessions.

Mat Pilates is also an excellent introduction to the foundational principles of Pilates, helping you develop an understanding of core connection, breath, alignment, control, and mindful movement.

In-person: Maximum 5 participants
Zoom:
Up to 4 participants

Mat Class Pricing

Single class: $25

4-class pack: $96

6-class pack: $144

Important: Package Expiration Update

To help keep scheduling and studio operations running smoothly, we are updating the expiration periods for class packages.

  • 4-class package: Expires 6 weeks after date of purchase

  • 6-class package: Expires 8 weeks after date of purchase

  • 8-class package: Expires 10 weeks after date of purchase

Please keep these time frames in mind when purchasing a package and scheduling your classes.

Group Classes Are Filling Up!

Many of our Zenergy group classes are now full and closed to additional enrollment.

With a maximum of five participants per class, keeping our groups small allows us to provide the individual attention and quality instruction that are central to the Zenergy experience.

New to Pilates or new to Zenergy? We kindly ask that you begin with a private session. This gives us an opportunity to learn about your experience, assess your needs, and help determine the class level that is right for you. If you have previous Pilates experience, please reach out and let us know about your background so we can better understand where you’re at and help guide you to the appropriate class when space opens up.

We will offer additional spots whenever possible as space becomes available. Thank you for your patience and understanding as our small-group classes continue to grow!

October Pricing Update

Beginning October 1, 2026, there will be a small 10% adjustment to Zenergy's pricing.

Like many small businesses, the costs of operating and maintaining the studio have continued to increase. This adjustment will help Zenergy continue to provide the personalized instruction, quality equipment, and welcoming environment that are at the heart of the studio.

Zenergy has always been about more than simply taking a class or having a workout. My goal is to provide a supportive, personalized environment where you can move well, build strength, improve mobility and balance, and feel cared for as an individual.

I truly appreciate your understanding and, most of all, your continued support of Zenergy. I am grateful for each of you and look forward to continuing to move, grow, and practice together.

Movement of the Month:

Standing Roll Down

The Standing Roll Down is a simple movement with many benefits. It encourages spinal mobility, improves body awareness, and invites you to slow down and connect your movement with your breath.

Try It

Stand tall with your feet comfortably underneath you.

Take a breath in and sweep your arms overhead, then slowly roll down through your spine as you exhale, allowing your head and neck to relax and your arms to reach toward the floor.

Pause at a comfortable range.

Keep the abdominals pulled in and inhale, then exhale as you return to upright, rebuilding your spine back to standing with control.

Move slowly, stay within a comfortable range, and never force the movement.

This fall, give yourself the opportunity to move with intention, explore something new, and continue building a stronger connection with your body. Here’s to a new season of movement, learning, and feeling good in your body.

With gratitude,
